Jotun Resist 78 is a two-component inorganic zinc ethyl silicate coating that cures by moisture. This product has a very high zinc dust content, fast curing, and is designed for heavy-duty corrosion protection on steel.
This coating is used as a primer in atmospheric coating systems, providing optimal protection for steel structures exposed to C5I or C5M environments. Resist 78 is only suitable for carbon steel substrates that have been prepared in accordance with standards. The product is also heat resistant up to 540°C in dry conditions, in accordance with the TDS requirements.
